Insurance and Payments:
This is a direct pay business which means you will pay the flat rate fee at time of service. I accept major credit cards, checks , cash, Venmo and PayPal payments.
Folks with FSA or HSA health insurance are often able to receive reimbursement through their insurance plan - please check your individual policy and I will be happy to provide you with a superbill upon request. If your plan requires a diagnosis from a medical provider you will need to get that from your primary care or specialist. Please contact me with any questions.
Practice approach:
I believe that massage therapy is a form of health care and I collaborate with my clients to support their health goals. I prefer to address the nervous systems role in chronic pain and injury recovery along with deep tissue and orthopedic techniques as appropriate.
I utilize a secure, HIPAA-compliant patient portal to ensure your health information is protected and our collaboration is seamless. You can access your account or sign up for one by clicking the “Book via Client Portal” button further down the page.
Its important to me to make massage therapy accessible. The flat rate plan I offer right now keeps things simple, I will be reviewing a sustainable sliding scale structure in the future. Please feel free to ask if you need assistance accessing care in the meantime.
Why do I do this? In my young adulthood I started a career as an environmental scientist and analyst. Many hours crawling under bushes, slogging through streams and observing natural systems lead to a five year long journey battling Lyme disease. During this time I received Cranial Sacral Therapy and was absolutely floored by the tremendous pain relief I received from such a gentle therapy. Once free from symptoms I enrolled in massage school and haven't looked back.
For Referring Providers:
I am a licensed massage therapist with over a decade of experience specializing in trauma-informed bodywork, orthopedic massage, and Upledger craniosacral therapy. My clinical focus includes working with clients managing chronic pain, postural dysfunction, somatic trauma symptoms, and nervous system dysregulation.
I hold additional training in Trauma Touch Therapy™ and craniosacral techniques, with an emphasis on slow, consent-driven, client-centered care. My approach integrates structural assessment with nervous system attunement, providing a safe space for clients—particularly those from LGBTQIA+ and trauma-impacted populations—who may feel underserved or retraumatized in more traditional settings.
I welcome referrals from mental health clinicians, physical therapists, and medical professionals seeking adjunctive somatic support for their clients. All treatments are tailored to the individual’s capacity, comfort, and therapeutic goals, and I am happy to coordinate care when appropriate.
